Whānau

This programme has been a game-changer for our whānau. It’s given the kids tools to help with big emotions and it’s been a huge help for us as parents too. The lessons, tools and ideas are awesome and really practical for the challenges kids face today. Highly recommend it.

Support your child with wellbeing tools for life
Every parent wants their child to feel confident, happy and engaged. Positive mindset skills help tamariki manage difficult emotions before they take over, while building the resilience and confidence they need to thrive at school and in life.
With the Positive Mindset Challenge app, you finally have the tools you need to support your child. Your child will be able to learn coping strategies and practice wellbeing skills that build resilience, confidence and a positive outlook.
The Positive Mindset Challenge is an easy-to-use, evidence-based mental wellbeing and mindset programme designed for New Zealand youth aged 8–15.
Your child can explore each section at their own pace, or you can work through it together, building a shared toolkit and common language for resilience and wellbeing in all situations.
Within the app, your child can also make their own notes and record 3 good things that happen to them each day – giving them a positive wellbeing tool and a special keepsake they can refer to whenever they are struggling.
